He was born in Tirschenreuth, Germanyand immigrated to Toronto, Canada in Tamasauskas graduated from the University of Windsor, Ontario inand afterwards worked at Open Studio as a printmaker, benefiting from the tutorage of Don Holman and Richard Sewell, eventually becoming the Director of Otis Tamasauskas was born in Terschenreuth Germany in a displaced persons camp infollowing his parents' flight from Lithuania after the Russian communist occupation.
